This year Manavi will be holding its first ever Capacity Building Institute. The purpose of this 2 day training will be to help emerging South Asian Women's Organizations gain a solid understanding of the technical aspects of establishing and running a non-profit. The Institute will focus on two primary areas- nonprofit management and program development.

Workshops will cover an array of topics including grant writing & budgeting, board development, fundraising, working with volunteers, and establishing and running programs such as counseling, legal clinics and economic empowerment, with a focus on tailoring programs and services to women's needs.
